  • A perfect place to stay for a retreat in The Peaks.

A fantastic few days with all of our family. The cottage is in a fabulous position on the edge of Chatsworth grounds.  Lots of pubs and restaurants in walking distance too. A very clean cottage, with lots of information as regards to local amenities and local walks. A perfect place to stay for a retreat in The Peaks. Would definitely recommend.

  • A really lovely lovely place.

A really lovely lovely place. We stayed at Polly’s house as we were attending a wedding at Heathy Lea, part of the Chatsworth Estate. We had direct access through the park, about a 15 minute walk. So a great location for access and in a stunning setting.

Would stay again if we were in the area, would come back especially to stay here.

    Thank you Polly.

  • The cottage is in a great location.

Whenever I walked nearby Polly's cottage, I've admired its charmness. It is an old cottage, maybe few hundred years old, part of the Chatsworth's estate once, but preserved wonderfully, with all amenities you may need.

We spent 9 great nights this year and we'll be happy to rent it again in the following years. We love Peak District, especially Chatsworth Estate and we come here for long walks every year.

The cottage is in a great location. 2 minutes away from the Kissing Gate of Chatsworth Park, 3 minutes away from the bus hub for visiting Peak District. Although it was rather chilly outside, it was warm and cosy inside cottage. Located with a stream just at the doorsteps, it was a great spot to enjoy seeing the flow of people walking towards the park - the greatest motivation to leave laziness behind.

Comfy beds & pillows, comfortable rooms, delightful living room for playing cards or enjoying a glass of wine, cosy back yard with wooden benches.
