Thatch End has a minimum stay of 3 nights. Our check in days are generally Friday and Monday.
Weekends- Friday to Monday
Week stays - Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday
Midweek - three night minimum between Monday and Friday

Thatch End Policies and Further Information
Smoking -The cottage is a no smoking property.
Fire Safety -Fire safety is obviously extremely important, but even more so due to the thatched roof. No smoking, no candles, no Barbecues.
We do understand that these are part of the country cottage experience for a lot of people, but please do consider the safety factor.
Occupancy - When booking for up to 7 guests this will be quoted assuming that you are using the regular bed configuration ( 1 King, 1 double and a double/ single bunk) If you require extra bed(s) please request this. There will be an extra charge for this.
Dogs -Dogs ( max 2) are welcome at Thatch End with prior agreement. ( please note charges may be applied if the pet rules are not followed)

We operate a strict policy of all dogs downstairs at all times. We also ask that they andenot allowed on the furniture at any time.

Please bring a clean blanket and bed for each of your pets and ensure they use them - not the furniture.

There is a hose outside should you need to de-mud anything. Again, ensure you bring towels for this.

We appreciate that your dogs are part of the family, and so if you would like them to be in the lounge WITH YOU when you are relaxing at night, that is fine so long as they have their own bed and are not allowed on the sofas.

Please don’t leave your four legged friends alone for long periods either in the house or garden as we have had instances where the dogs have been unhappy and barked continuously, which is not nice for the poor dog or the neighbours!

Please clean up all ‘deposits’ in the garden and dispose of these.

There are friendly pheasants and other wildlife in the garden so please do keep dogs under supervision and secured if need be.
Parking - There is one gated space and one area outside the cottage wall for a second car. If you have visitors or have lots of cars there is a pay and display car park over the bridge, on the left, next to the sweet shop.
Facilities:
Kitchen - Gas hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, small dishwasher. Ample crockery, cutlery and cookware.
Downstairs W.C. and basin
Dining room : Log burner, Table and chairs - seat up to 10 with extension.
Lounge: Sofa, sofa bed ( by arrangement) smart television, bluetooth speaker, board games.
Bedroom 1 : Kingsize bed, daybed - occasional childs bed by arrangement. Wardrobe, dresser. Space for another occasional childs bed ( by arrangement.
Bedroom 2: Double bed, wardrobe, dresser, space for occasional bed ( by arrangement)
Bedroom 3: Double bed with single bunk above, hanging rail.
Bathrooom 1 : Bath, overbath shower, basin, WC
Bathroom 2 : Shower, basin, W.C.
Other: Towels and linen provided, Central heating,Travel cot (linen not provided), high chair, hairdryer, outdoor seating, parking for 1/2 cars.
Closest shop: Co-op- 10 min walk, 2 min drive.
Closest pub: Devonshire Arms/ Wheatsheaf hotel - 2 mins walk.
Closest restaurant : Il Lupo Italian , 2 min walk.
